Dr. Stefan Plesser, CEO of synavision GmbH, expressed satisfaction with the positive response from visitors at this year’s Expo Real 2023. “About 20 years ago, we began thinking about how to build sustainably,” Plesser told Immobilien Zeitung (IZ). He is now pleased to see that sustainability is increasingly becoming a focus within the real estate industry. Synavision participated with a booth in the Decarb-Arena at this year’s Expo Real.
In his conversation with IZ, Plesser emphasized the importance of technical and digital solutions to unlock energy-saving potentials in buildings. “We simply have many issues with buildings,” said Plesser. Often, the technology does not function smoothly. He called on the industry to first leverage the greatest efficiencies. “We don’t have enough craftsmen or specialists. We need to prioritize. And if we prioritize incorrectly, we will waste our time and money on the wrong things. Then we will not achieve our climate goals by 2050,” Plesser stated in his discussion with IZ.
