synavision, in collaboration with energydesign braunschweig GmbH, has launched the research project “ScaleUp!” The aim of the project, which is funded by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (German Federal Environmental Foundation), is to accelerate the transformation of the building stock towards climate neutrality and ensure the quality of individual measures along the way.
“From municipal heating planning and the many renovation roadmaps for buildings and districts, a great pressure for action has arisen. While there are many solutions for the sustainable transformation of buildings, they are often unclear for developers and cannot be successfully scaled,” said Dr.-Ing. Stefan Plesser, Managing Partner of synavision. “Strong developers must use and monitor their own technical standards digitally. And we provide them with the digital tools for this.” With these tools, developers and property owners can precisely define requirements, get their buildings on track, and always know whether their sustainability investments are successful. The project tests the application of proven standardized technical solutions for new construction, renovation, and modernization measures. These solutions can shorten planning processes, reduce costs, and digitize quality management. And most importantly: standardization relieves construction departments and project teams from repetitive revision loops.
synavision transforms conceptual technical standards into digitized organizational processes and provides them as user-friendly services on the synavision “Software-as-a-Service” platform. Together with project partner energydesign braunschweig GmbH, additional technical standards and quality management services will be developed.
For optimal and practical implementation, private and public property owners with their building portfolios and projects will be involved in the development process. This allows them to immediately experience and utilize the potential of digitalization for the transition of their building stocks.
